Is that an Iraqi flag?
Yep. The thought of foreign troops, especially Iraqis, using M1s is still a touch jarring to me, even though intellectually I know others have been buying them for almost 20 years.
Damnit…
Having watched Iraqis shoot tanks, I have no fears of them…. We talked with the CDR of 9th Iraqi Army Division back in 2010 who told my boss that the contingent of M1s they were getting were going to be their parade tanks while their T72s would be their line tanks. Hmm.
