The Blackburn Buccaneer was a low level penetration strike aircraft that first flew on 30 April 1958. She was in service first the Royal Navy then the Royal Air Force and the South African Air Force between the years of 1962 and 1994.

The Buc' is without a doubt one of the sexiest aircraft to grace the skies. Not to mention extremely effective at low level against potential enemy warships transiting the North Sea during the bad old days of the Cold War.

    Exceptionally cool video. I recall a member of the old HULL group who was all in love with the buc. Now I know why. Long legs and a goodly well apportioned bomb rack to boot. Built for speed as they say.
