9/11 – Roamy

I really don’t have much to add to what I said last year. I remember this photo from ISS Commander Frank Culbertson taken on that terrible day and wonder how helpless he felt, 380 km up.

It’s a scar that’s still healing. Jim Geraghty said this morning, “Despite al-Qaeda’s best efforts, life in America goes on. We still feel our grief, but we’re not paralyzed by it.”

RIP, Gregg Froehner.

  1. I know I will always remember, in vivid clarity. As will my children.

  2. I will always remember. as well. It makes me think about what a complete shock Pearl Harbor must have been. Since Pearl, we have always known, in the back of our minds, that this could happen, but Pearl Harbor came out of nowhere. I will always remember this.
