Collision at Sea: USS Montpelier (SSN-765) and USS San Jacinto (CG-56)

NBC News is reporting that these two Navy warships collided at around 1530 local time during training off the East Coast.  No other news on the collision other than both ships are making way under their own power, and most thankfully, there are no deaths or injuries.   Will update later on as more word comes in.

Training for war is a dangerous business.   Very relieved to know there was no loss of life or injury.

  1. NaCly Dog

Activate the sheriff’s badges exploding bolts! Ready, two.

  2. Yeppers. At least one of the COs will lose his command and have his career ended. The long green table awaits.
