Same artificial tree as last year, lots of the same decorations. But it’s just not Christmas until The Crap Tree goes up.
My mom had the tradition of buying at least one new ornament each year. This year’s is the J-2X engine ornament from work. Goes nicely with the biplane.
This is one of the oldest ornaments I inherited. I think it’s 1949 or 1950.

Can’t remember if I’ve already told this story, but I bought that bust for $5 at a gas station.
You told me last year but I can’t remember the answer, does that model Saturn 5 fly or static? And the lava lamp still looks like something Centuri Industries would have turned out.
It’s static. It’s a 3-D puzzle, as is the St. Peter’s Basilica next to the bust. There’s also a 3-D Neuschwanstein out of frame.
My Mom’s tree always had a Galileo 7, and a Bird of Prey on it somewhere.
