    With Australia and New Zealand, Canada has been the cream of the Commonwealth forces since WWI. A long history of good units.

    Farley Mowat wrote two books about his WWII service, His second book, The Regiment rhapsodized the The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment. His book And No Birds Sang was a very personal and searing tale of being a second lieutenant in combat in Sicily and Italy.

    The Canadian Army had good cold war service in Europe, with a brigade group almost as stong as a division, and a sound reputation in Afghanistan.

    I’ve only worked with the Canadians in peacetime, but they always impressed me . Even the Leopards look pretty good here. Nice video.
