Mother, Twin 9-Year Old Daughters Killed in GA Home Invasion

That would be the story line in the world desired by Feinstein and Schumer and Holder and Obama.

Paul-Slater

Thankfully, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution tells us, the story ended differently.

Cops: Mother of two surprises intruder with five gunshots

“He opens the closet door and finds himself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver,” said Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman, who relayed the woman’s narrative to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He asked that her name be withheld.

The woman fired six bullets, five of which hit Paul Ali Slater in the face and neck area…

Wow, better than the NYPD some time ago.

Interesting that the “protect the children” cabal utters not a peep about the 9-year old twin girls whose mother likely saved them from a terrible fate.   Because the coming gun control measures have nothing to do with protecting anyone other than themselves from an armed populace, so that they will hold ultimate power without restraint.

But, naturally, Dianne Feinstein carries a pistol, for her own protection, of course.   A right  she assiduously works to deny to law-abiding Americans.

Pay heed.

I read somewhere the AJC call the mom “trigger happy” when the story was first posted and changed soon after. Don’t know if this is true or not, but might be worth looking into.

I recently did some research to see the effect of gun control in the UK on total homicides. Gun control there started in 1968 and has stepped up over the decades since. From 1946-1968, 300-400 homicides occurred each year for a rate of under 0.75 per 100,000 people. A decade late, the rate was up over 1 per 100k. It bumped over 1.5 per 100k as gun laws became ever-more restrictive. Homicides peaked just after the turn of the century and have been declining, but it’s still more than 1.25 per 100k. If gun control saved lives, wouldn’t the numbers have gone down? If you only look at firearms homicides, there are fewer of those, but since there are significantly more homicides overall, it sure doesn’t seem safer to me.

I get “This ain’t hell” over at This ain’t Hell. I come here for the intellectual stimulation.

I came across the perfect rejoinder to anyone advocating more gun control: OK, you tell the Bloods and Crips to turn in their guns. Get back to me once you’ve gotten all of theirs.

  5. MSN initially referred to her as “Trigger Happy”, but removed that as they got pummeled by readers. She saved herself and her kids, and this is her fault how?
    Assholes…

How? Because it is her job to be a victim, where she is either saved by the apparatus of the State (in the Leninist and not Commonwealth context) or dies compliantly for the cause of additional police powers.

    • U R right URR. Chris just doesn’t unnerstand.
