River Crossing

This is pretty obviously something of a dog and pony show, but still pretty interesting. I always thought I’d only see it from the west bank of the Rhine.

  1. Um, yeah; many river crossings have conveniently-placed gradings at the riverbank exactly where you need them, along with the absence of hostile fire. {rolls eyes}

    @Casey – yeah funny how that works.

    I especially liked the preparatory fires – half of them looked as though they were emplanted explosives going off next to the shore line where it would make a very impressive geyser, yet not damage a defensive emplacement. I’m also curious how many APCs they would lose if the river were not calm and without current (as it seems to be).
