…if George Zimmerman had allowed himself to be beaten, possibly to death.
Eric Holder certainly would have been happier with that, as would the NAACP. Now, Holder blames the “stand your ground” laws in the wake of the Zimmerman verdict. And, despite the not guilty finding of the jury, and the assertions of the FBI report that race had no role in the entire incident, Holder is eager to pursue the all-too-predictable “civil rights violations” under Federal Hate Crime statutes. Not coincidentally, Al Sharpton and other race-baiters whole-heartedly agree. Holder has promised that the Justice Department will follow the law with regards to the Zimmerman case, but has given none of us any reason whatever to have confidence in his honesty or his judgment.
Remember, if it were up to Holder, George Zimmerman would not have had weapon. So the beating would have continued until Zimmerman either was able to get away from the 6-0 175 pound Martin, or he was beaten unconscious, or to death. Or, if a cop happened to stumble across the scene. That, too, seems like it would have been fine with Holder. Zimmerman, after all, was not one of “his people”.
Here’s a question, though. If someone knocked down Eric Holder and began banging his head against the sidewalk, what is the likely reaction of his US Marshalls Service Security Detail? They certainly carry firearms. My guess is the assailant would be shot dead.
You see, Eric Holder is heavily armed. So are the gangs in Chicago, and LA, and Washington DC, and other American cities, usually where legal gun ownership is all but prohibited. And remember, thanks to Holder, the Mexican drug gangs got 2,000 weapons courtesy of the Justice Department and the American taxpayer’s dime. The only people Eric Holder wants to disarm are the law-abiding. Now, he wants us to retreat in the face of the lawless. Seems we aren’t “his people”, either.
