Bob Gates thinks Obama is dim, but Biden is a dolt.

Well, yeah. We knew that.

I know a lot of folks weren’t wild about Bob Gates tenure as SecDef. But as Obama’s appointment of Chuck Hagel as his replacement shows, Gates was a lot better than a lot of alternatives.

And now Gates has a memoir of his time in the Pentagon coming out.

In a new memoir, former defense secretary Robert Gates unleashes harsh judgments about President Obama’s leadership and his commitment to the Afghanistan war, writing that by early 2010 he had concluded the president “doesn’t believe in his own strategy, and doesn’t consider the war to be his. For him, it’s all about getting out.”

There’s excerpts around the web, and I’m kinda late posting today. So you’ve likely seen more by now. And there’s not really anything I’ve seen that would surprise even the most casual observer of this administration. We knew Biden was “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,”

  1. Gates is being charitable with both Zer0 and Bite me. Frankly, Gates should have left when Bush left as Gates simply became cover for Zer0.

But, yes, Gates was absolutely nothing to write home about either. Rumsfeld was better.

So who is going to be the last man to die for Obama’s political comfort and Bob Gates’ cowardice?

Considering he thinks Shillery the Screamer is just dandy, I discount just about everything beyond Ugabe is a retard and Plugs even more so

Perhaps Gates is preparing the battle space for a position on Team Hillary.
