    The Electra lives! The original form of this airframe was a passenger airliner introduced over half a century ago. The Hercules and the U-2/TR-1 are also still in use north of the half century mark. And it has not yet been 10 years since the last military F-104 was retired (Italy), a design also originating in that same mid-century era. And the T-33 is still in use in the Bolivian Air Force. That aircraft started as the P-80, which entered service in the closing days of WW2! All Lockheed designs….
