One of Mr. RFH’s co-workers is currently deployed with his National Guard unit to Afghanistan, and he was kind enough to share this photo. The first thing I thought of when I saw the robot was Battlebots, but it’s a Dragon Runner. His unit uses these and the Talon robots to scout ahead, look around corners, and detect motion. Wikipedia says both robots are used to disarm IEDs. Glad to know we are using our technology this way.
